#SecDarVisit | Agriculture Secretary Dr. William Dar led the grand launching of the Agro-Industrial Development Program (AIDP) under Southern Philippines Development Authority (SPDA’s), November 16, 2021.
“I will see to it that the SPDA, PEZA and the DA will work together to promote and develop this further into an Agro Industrial Business Corridor,” Sec. Dar said.
Secretary Dar also led the kick off of the implementation of a mechanized and Precision in Agriculture Technology in partnership with Lanao Del Sur Corn Development Corporation Asia Pacific Precision Agriculture Group (ASPAC AG), an American private company.
“Walang iwanan. Tayong lahat ay aangat at ‘yon po ang mensaheng gustong iparating ng ating mahal na pangulo. Let us all be one and united and let us all go together to become more prosperous at the end of the day,” he added.
The said program aims to cultivate 26,000 hectares of land for the production of Halal corn silage to be marketed to Arab countries.
